Description: A licensee must ensure that all rooms and common areas are maintained in a safe and clean condition.

Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that all rooms and common areas are maintained in a safe and clean condition. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On April 23 and 27, 2026, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: staff were to monitor person in care's bedrooms and work with housekeeping, maintenance and persons in care to ensure standards are met, where persons in care care needs impact the ability to maintain a room, staff will implement individualized approaches and escalate concerns, bedroom inspections will occur every two weeks in April and May 2026 for those that require additional supports and a memo will be sent out by April 30, 2026 regarding expectations for ongoing monitoring of room conditions, reporting and escalation of environmental concerns and collaboration between staff when additional supports are required. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
