Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: September 10, 2025, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: On October 31, 2025, the staff will be trained on lift policies and safe bathing protocols, with skills testing requiring a passing grade and random audits to ensure compliance, the staff must complete a performance review, required education, and an Human Resource (HR) review, the findings will be reported to the BC Care Registry and Licensing if needed, with possible further disciplinary or educational measures by the Director of Care (DOC) team. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that the Licensee had not operated the community care facility in a manner which promoted the health, safety, and dignity of persons in care. Specifically, staff did not follow safety protocols for bath lifts.
