Observations: Licensing inspected the bathroom cabinet of one of the bathrooms and found a bottle of unsecured chemical cleaner.
3010 - RCR 40(1)(b)
Description: A licensee must ensure that the performance of each employee is reviewed both regularly and as directed by the medical health officer under subsection (2) to ensure that the employee demonstrates the competence required for the duties to which the employee is assigned.

3070 - RCR 78(3)(a)
Description: A licensee must have, and keep with each person in care’s record, consent in writing from the person in care or a parent or representative of the person in care to call a medical practitioner, nurse practitioner or ambulance in case of accident or illness,

Observations: Licensing reviewed the records for one person in care who did not have a recent record of written consent from the person in care to call a medical/nurse practitioner or ambulance. The document was signed in 2020.

Description: Subject to subsection (5), a licensee, other than a licensee who provides a type of care described as Hospice, must ensure that each person in care is weighed at least once each month,
