Observations: Licensing observed two missing electrical plug covers in room 1 used for napping and 4 missing electrical plug covers in room 2 also used for napping. Licensing observed yard and lawn care liquid maintenance products accessible to children in nap room 2; the manufacturer label requires the product to be out of the reach of children. Licensee replaced missing electrical plug covers during the inspection and Licensee removed all hazardous yard materials and put them out of the reach of children on top of the kitchen cupboard and stated she will store the lawn care products in a locked shed when the children in care have left the facility for the day.

Observations: Licensing observed no record of an annual emergency drill being recorded on the fire/emergency drill log. Licensee stated that the annual emergency drill was conducted in October 2021 on the same date as Shake Out BC but admitted that the drill was not recorded.

Observations: Licensing audited 12 weeks of daily attendance logs that the Licensee uses to record outdoor play space checks. Licensing observed that 7 weeks were missing record of daily outdoor play space checks. Licensee stated during the inspection that the days with no record of outdoor play space checks being conducted the Licensee has likely forgotten to record that active outdoor play occurred by neighbourhood walk or trip to the soccer field close by or forgotten to record that due to weather the program did not have outdoor play for a specific date.
