Corrective Actions Required: Ensure children in care are not subjected to emotional abuse while at the facility. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to this contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On February 9, 2026, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: the parent involved has withdrawn her children from care effective January 29, 2026. There will be no further interaction between this parent and staff or children in this facility. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observations: Related to intake dated January 27, 2026. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined on January 20, 2026, emotional abuse occurred at the facility by a parent of a child in care towards staff and impacted the wellbeing of children in care.

Description: A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure children's records show time of arrival and time of departure. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to this contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On February 9, 2026, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: the Licensee will implement paper attendance records in addition to Kindertales attendance records to ensure consistency and accuracy. This corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
