Observations: Licensing observed a container with a label which stated the bottle contained bleach and an unidentifiable container filled with liquid on the deck, gap between the facility's building and deck railing that measured 3.9 inches and 4 inches (gaps on decking should measure 3.5 inches) and thorny bushes in the outdoor play space where the children have access to. Staff was not aware of what the unidentifiable container liquid was. At the time of the inspection staff removed the container with the bleach label to a space where children do not have access and stated that the children would not have access to the deck area.

Description: A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a valid certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the licensee using a system established and maintained by the director of the early childhood educator registry
