Observations: Licensing observed a menu binder. Three staff stated they were unaware of the menu binder and that they did not know what was on the menu for breakfast or lunch on a daily basis. The meals that had been provided to persons in care did not match what was on the menu.

Description: A licensee must ensure that a person in care’s medication is returned to the dispensing pharmacy if the expiry date on the medication has passed.

Observations: Licensing audited the medication cabinet. One medication had expired in 2025 and had not been returned to the pharmacy, as well as two naloxone kits were observed which had expired in June 2026.
