Description: A licensee must do all of the following: operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote in the case of adult persons in care, the rights of those persons in care;
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure to operate the facility in a manner which promotes the rights of persons in care. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On October 17, 2025 Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: a meeting was held with the family of a person in care and the rights of persons in care was reviewed and the family agreed to respect the person in care's choices. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observations: Regarding intake August 18, 2025. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that the licensee had not operated the community care facility in a manner that promoted the rights of persons in care. Specifically, visitors of a person in care not respecting the person in care's lifestyle and choices regarding care.

Corrective Actions Required: Ensure to operate the facility in a manner which promotes the health, safety, and dignity of persons in care. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On October 17, 2025 Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: prior to the investigation, the family was informed they could not provide snacks and drinks to persons in care and there had been no further incidents. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
