Observations: Licensing reviewed eight of eight staff files. One staff had an expired criminal record check, and another staff did not have a criminal record check on file.

Description: A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: evidence that the person has complied with the Province’s immunization and tuberculosis control programs

Observations: Licensing reviewed six of 62 children's records. One children's record did not have the name and telephone number of a medical practitioner.
3080 - CCALA 7(1)(b)(i)

Observations: Licensing observed that the facility had exceeded maximum capacity in the Bandroom, and that the corrective action plan regarding lead in water was not followed. Regarding the Bandroom, Licensing observed there were 21 children in care in the Bandroom and the Bandroom was licensed for 20 children in care. Regarding lead in water, Licensing observed that the water cooler which was purchased for the Bandroom was empty. Manager stated that water cooler had been empty for approximately one month.
