3020 - RCR 74(1)(b)(ii)
Description: Subject to subsection (2), a licensee may restrain a person in care if there is agreement to the use of a restraint given in writing by both the medical practitioner or nurse practitioner responsible for the health of the person in care.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure to have a written agreement to the use of restraints signed by a medical or nurse practitioner.

Observations: Licensing audited two persons in care's charts. There was no written agreement for the use of restraints. The fridge and pantry are locked and persons in care do not have access to a key.
3060 - DOLSOP (Immunization Records)
Description: Clear and up to date records of immunization status kept for each person in care
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure to keep a record of immunization for all persons in care.

Description: A licensee must have, and keep with each person in care’s record, consent in writing from the person in care or a parent or representative of the person in care to call a medical practitioner, nurse practitioner or ambulance in case of accident or illness,

Description: A care plan must include all of the following: in the case of a person in care who receives a type of care described as Long Term Care or who may be prone to falling, a fall prevention plan, which must address a plan for preventing the person in care from falling
