Observations: Licensing tested hot water at five sinks where children access hot water and the hot water temperature was 53° Celsius in the Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) program in C1 Room 1. This represents an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care and must be corrected immediately. The Manager stated children would always be supervised washing hands and they would look at installing a water regulator. Full compliance will not be achieved until the plan has been implemented and completed.
