Corrective Actions Required: Ensure to operate the facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On March 30 and April 9, 2026, Manager submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: The staff would be moved to a different program and mentored by an educator, there would be a daily check in between the staff and mentor which would be documented in a communication log, the staff would complete "Behavior in the Early Years" online course by June 30, 2026, the staff will have bi-weekly meetings with Manager and an evaluation by June 30, 2026. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observations: Regarding intake dated February 9, 2026. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that a staff did not have the skills necessary to ensure the health, safety and dignity of persons in care.

Description: A licensee must ensure that behavioural guidance is appropriate to the age and development of the child who is receiving the guidance,
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that behavioral guidance is appropriate to the age and development of the child who is receiving the guidance. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On March 30 and April 9, 2026, Manager submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: all staff would review and sign off on the Guidance policy and Guiding Children's Behavior policy and Section 51 of the Child Care Licensing Regulation. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
