Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that policies and procedures referred to in subsection (1) are implemented by employees. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On March 17, 2026, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: the Manager would implement a weekly incident audit and review all incident reports against the communication log to ensure parents were contacted at the time of the incident. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observations: Regarding intake dated February 19, 2026. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined policies related to notification to parents of incidents were not implemented.

Specifically, proper implementation of care plans by staff. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On March 17, 2026, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: all staff would review and sign off on each individual care plan in their direct care and staff would have a one-on-one review regarding specific instructions for care plans. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that a parent or emergency contact is immediately notified if a child becomes ill or is injured. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On March 17, 2026, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: the staff handbook would be updated to state that all head injuries, regardless of severity, required an immediate phone call to a parent and a mandatory staff meeting would be held focusing on immediate notification protocols for illness and injuries. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
