Corrective Actions Required: Ensure the community care facility is operated in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care, specifically regarding suitability of staff members. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to this contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On December 4, 2024 Licensee Contact submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: staff will review a staff manual that contained policies and procedures to ensure all staff was fully informed and trained on health and safety guidelines and best practices for managing the care and supervision of children in a staff meeting on December 10, 2024. The Manager will coach and monitor staff by having regular meetings and providing feedback and support. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observations: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that staff did not demonstrate the skills and abilities to carry out the duties as assigned. Specifically, staff telling not age appropriated stories to children in care.
