Description: A licensee, other than a licensee who provides a care program described as School Age Care on School Grounds, must ensure that any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.

Observations: Hot water upstairs in Kidz Co 2 (Group Child Care School Age) program measured 55.C. This represents an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care and must be corrected immediately. No children were in care in the School Age program due to Spring Break at the time of this inspection. The Licensee stated they would drain the hot water and turn down the temperature on the day of the inspection and invited Licensing to return later this day to remeasure the hot water. Full compliance will not be achieved until Licensing returns to re-measure the hot water in the school age program.
