Description: A licensee must do all of the following:(b) operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care

Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that the health, safety and dignity of children in care, specifically the Licensee demonstrates the skills and abilities needed for all children in care. Action/s required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. On March 19, 2026, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: pre-enrolment interviews with families; gradual entry to see how the child interacts with the other children and Licensee to determine suitability; probation period where if a child does not fit in with the other group of children, or the program the Licensee would discontinue care. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
