Observations: Licensing checked the water temperature of two bathrooms and one bathroom water temperature was 52.8 degrees Celsius.This represents an immediate risk to the health and safety of persons in care and must be immediately corrected. Licensing spoke to the Manager who stated that BC House would be contacted immediately to reduce the water temperature. Full compliance will not be achieved until the plan has been implemented and completed.
3000 - RCR 31(b)
Description: A licensee, other than a licensee who provides a type of care described as Long Term Care, must provide one bathtub or shower for every 4 persons in care.
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure all bath tubs have slip resistant materials in them. Action/s Required by Licensing: Follow Up Inspection to be conducted.
