3020 - RCR 85(2)(m)
Description: Without limiting subsection (1) (a), a licensee must have written policies and procedures in respect of all of the following: obtaining consent, in accordance with Part 3 of the Health Care (Consent) and Care Facility (Admission) Act, before admitting an adult to the community care facility.

Observations: Licensing audited the policy and procedures. There was no written policies and procedures in respect the Health Care (Consent) and Care Facility (Admission) Act.

Description: A licensee must assess each person in care on admission to determine the risk that the person in care may leave the community care facility without notification of an employee.

Observations: Licensing audited fourteen records of persons in care and twelve did not contain an assessment on admission to determine risk that the person in care may leave the community care facility without notification.
3050 - RCR 62(2)(b)
Description: A licensee must ensure that each menu provides for each day, at least 2 nutritious snacks, with each snack containing at least 2 food groups as described in Canada’s Food Guide,
Corrective Actions Required: Ensure that each menu provided for each day has at least two nutritious snacks.
