Description: Depth guidelines for loose fill material (if protective surfacing used) : minimum 15 cm (6”) for 1.5 metre (5’) equipment height minimum 30 cm (12”) for 2.3 metre (7’) equipment height (Consider surfacing table, Triax, etc.)

Corrective Actions Required: Ensure a minimum of 6 inches of surfacing depth for equipment of 5 feet in height and a minimum of 12 inches of surfacing depth for equipment of 7 feet in height.

Observations: Licensing measured the depth of surfacing by the maroon composite slides. The composite swirly slide measured 6 feet 10 inches and the depth of surfacing was 4 inches. The monkey bars measured 7 feet and the depth of surfacing was 2 inches.
