Observations: Related to intake dated January 12, 2026. Through the investigation process, Licensing determined the following hazards were accessible to children: fireplace accessible to children and hot to touch, stagnant water in the outdoor play space, and medication accessible to children. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to this contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On February 5, 2026 the Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to licensing. Licensing did not accept this plan.

Corrective Actions Required: Ensure the Licensee operates the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care, specifically, following the terms and conditions on the licence. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to this contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On February 5, 2026, the Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: The Licensee would personally provide care and remain the primary caregiver responsible for the day-to-day operation, supervision of children, staff oversight, and compliance with all licensing requirements. Any planned or emergency absence of the Licensee would be time-limited, infrequent, and managed in accordance with the Community Care Assisted Living Act and Child Care Licensing Regulation, and families would be notified if the Licensee would be absent. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
