Observations & Corrective Actions
3010 - CCLR 19(1)(a): 3010 - CCLR 19(1)(a) Licensing audited seven staff files and two files contained an expired criminal record check. Expiry date: October 2025 and February 2026.
Corrective Actions: Ensure a criminal record check is obtained for employees.
3010 - CCLR 19(1)(f): 3010 - CCLR 19(1)(f) Licensing audited seven staff files and one file did not contain an immunization status.
Corrective Actions: Ensure an immunization status is kept for employees.
3050 - CCALA 7(1)(b)(i): 3050 - CCALA 7(1)(b)(i) Licensing observed a corrective action plan was not followed on this date. Licensee Contact stated they flushed the water for two minutes every morning but it was not recorded.
Corrective Actions: Ensure to operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote health, safety and dignity of persons in care.
3050 - CCLR 48(5): 3050 - CCLR 48(5) Licensing observed a corrective action plan was not followed on this date. Licensee Contact stated they flushed the water for two minutes every morning but it was not recorded.
Corrective Actions: Ensure safe drinking water is available for children.
3070 - CCALA 7(1)(b)(i): 3070 - CCALA 7(1)(b)(i) Licensing observed that a log of all inspections, maintenance and repairs was not kept current. Licensee Contact stated they performed the outdoor safety checks but it was not recorded.
Corrective Actions: Ensure a log of all inspections, maintenance and repairs is kept.
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(c): 3070 - CCLR 57(2)(c) Licensing observed that the attendance records were not showing the time of departure of all the children that were in care on March 13, 2026.
Corrective Actions: Ensure records for each child in care are showing daily attendance record indicating for each day whether the child is absent or present, time of arrival and departure.
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(d): 3070 - CCLR 57(2)(d) Licensing audited seven children's files and two files did not contain a name and phone number of a medical practitioner.
Corrective Actions: Ensure a record for each child showing a name and phone number for a medical practitioner is kept.
