Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that staff did not adhere to the terms and conditions on the licence related to capacity.
Corrective action: Ensure the community care facility was operated in a manner that would promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care, specifically regarding terms and conditions on the licence. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to this contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On February 13, 2023, Licensee Contact submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included: staff were made aware through reminders and meetings of the capacity limits on the licence and children would not be permitted to attend once capacity was met. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. Licensing conducted inspections on May 2, 2023, May 8, 2023, and June 5, 2023 and on each inspection the terms and conditions of the licence were followed. On August 14, 2023 Licensing received confirmation that on January 30, 2023 and February 27, 2023 there was staff meetings conducted in which terms and conditions on the license was reviewed with staff.
