A licensee must do all of the following: ensure that policies are implemented by employees.
Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined the Licensee did not ensure that policies were implemented by employees.
Corrective action: Ensure policies are implemented by employees. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On November 12, 2021, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. This corrective action plan included the Manager to review the Releasing Resident Information-Guidelines Policy and the presentation of Releasing Resident Information-Guidelines policy at a Leadership and Staff meeting. This corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. On February 6, 2022, Licensing received an email confirmation that the Release of Documents Policy had been reviewed at a Daily Leadership Huddle on November 15, 2021 and at a Nurse Practice Meeting on November 16, 2021. On March 4, 2022 Licensing received an email confirmation that the Release of Documentation Policy had been reviewed at an Registered Care Aide (RCA) Huddle on March 4, 2022.
