Without limiting subsection (1), a licensee must ensure that the ratio of employees to children attending a community care facility is no less than that permitted in Schedule E.
Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that the ratio of employees to children attending a community care facility was less than that permitted in Schedule E.
Corrective action: Ensure that the employee to child ratio is no less that permitted in Schedule E. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On May 10, 2022, Licensee Contact submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. This corrective action plan included: an Early Childhood Educator (ECE), would replace the ECE at this site. The ECE at this site would remain in ratio while children were in care. Licensing would be notified when an ECE has been hired. This corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
