Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that the Licensee did not operate the community care facility in a manner that promoted the health, safety, and dignity of persons in care. Specifically, related to wound care documentation.
Corrective action: Ensure to operate the community care facility in a manner that promotes the health, safety, and dignity of persons in care. Specifically, that documentation related to wound care is completed. Actions Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On August 4, 2023, a new Licensee was approved for the facility and submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included that all care plans would be completed and reviewed by staff and staff were to review all of the new Licensee's policies by September 24, 2023. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. On January 21, 2024, new Licensee confirmed in writing that all care plans were completed and had been reviewed by staff by September 30, 2023. Licensing to review and monitor this corrective action plan.
