A licensee must, to the greatest extent possible while maintaining the health, safety and dignity of all persons in care, ensure that a person in care may receive visitors of the person in care’s choice at any time,
Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that the Licensee did not , to the greatest extent possible while maintaining the health, safety and dignity of all persons in care, ensure that a person in care received visitors of the person in care's choice at any time.
Corrective action: Ensure the Licensee must, to the greatest extent possible while maintaining the health, safety and dignity of all persons in care, ensure that a person in care may receive visitors of the person in care's choice at any time. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On January 20, 2023, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included the removal of limitations on visitations. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. Licensing to review and monitor this corrective action plan. On April 17, 2023, Licensing was notified by the Licensee Contact that the person in care continued to receive visitors and there had been no concerns.

Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that the Licensee did not ensure that a person in care was able to communicate with visitors in private.
Corrective action: Ensure the Licensee must, to the greatest extent possible while maintaining the health, safety and dignity of all persons in care, ensure that a person in care may communicate with visitors in private. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention.
