Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined the Garden Room was rented out to other child care programs during operational hours of the licensed child care programs.
Corrective action: Ensure the community care facility is operated in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care, specifically regarding terms and conditions on the licence. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to send a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to this contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On February 8, 2022, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. This corrective action plan included: the Group Child Care (School Age) program would not operate in the afternoons and an amendment application would be sent to Licensing to amend the hours of operation for the Group Child Care (School Age) program in the afternoon. This corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. On June 30, 2022 and amended licence was issued to change the hours for the Group Child Care (School Age) program. Action/s Required by Licensing: No further action required; this contravention has been addressed.
