A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child
Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined the pet area was not completely enclosed, had dog excrement within it, had wire protectors with parts sticking out and was accessible to children.
Corrective action: Ensure children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to their health or safety. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On August 23, 2022 Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. This corrective action plan included work would be done to enclose the pet area. This corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. Licensing to review and monitor this corrective action plan. Follow Up Inspection required. Follow Up Inspection on September 13, 2022 Licensing observed the pet area was enclosed with a chain link fence and inaccessible to children.
