Category/Description
The licensee must develop the care plan in consultation,with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.
Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that care plans had not been developed for children who required extra support.
Corrective action: Ensure that care plans are developed consultation with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On April 18, 2023, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included care plans would be signed by both the Manager and parents and all staff would be made aware of children's care plans and would be required to sign off that they understood the care plan. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. On May 19, 2023, Licensing conducted a Routine Follow Up Inspection and observed that all care plans were signed by the Manager and parents.
