A licensee must ensure that a child is not, while under the care or supervision of the licensee, subjected to any of the following types of abuse or neglect: Neglect
Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined a child sat in a soiled diaper for approximately 60 minutes.
Corrective action: Ensure that a child is not, while under the care or supervision of the licensee, subjected to any of the following types of abuse or neglect: Neglect. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On November 1, 2022, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. This corrective action plan included a diaper changing procedure chart would be posted in the washroom, diapers would be checked every two hours and changed immediately if wet or soiled and children would be cleaned before putting a new diaper one. This corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. Licensing to review and monitor this corrective action plan.
