Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that staff did not use appropriate behavioural guidance.
Corrective action: Ensure that behavioural guidance is appropriate to the age and development of the child who is receiving the guidance. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On September 4, 2024, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included creating a clear behavioural guidance policy with staff to ensure inappropriate techniques would not occur. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. On October 2, 2024, Licensing received the updated policy.
