A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (f) a log of minor accidents, illnesses and unexpected events involving children, that did not require medical attention and were not reportable incidents described in Schedule H.
Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that a record of non reportable incidents had not been kept.
Corrective action: Ensure that a current record of minor accidents, illnesses and unexpected events involving children, that did not require medical attention and were not reportable incidents as described in Schedule H, is kept. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On November13, 2023, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included providing each classroom with a log book, issuing a memo to all staff regrading the use of non reportable incident logs and hosting a mandatory staff meeting where non-reportable incident logs would be discussed. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. On November 17, 2023, Licensee submitted a summary memo regarding the use of non reportable incident log books that was signed by fifteen staff members and documentation confirming a staff meeting was held on November 15, 2023 where non reportable incidents were discussed.
