A licensee must notify the medical health officer within 24 hours after (a) a child is involved in, or may have been involved in, a reportable incident described in Schedule H while under the care or supervision of the licensee,
Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that Licensee had not reported an incident described in Schedule H within 24 hours.
Corrective action: Ensure the medical health officer is notified within 24 hours after a child has been involved in or may have been involved in a reportable incident. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On May 15, 2023 Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included all staff had been made aware of the policy regarding reportable incidents and moving forward all incidents would be reported within 24 hours. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
