During an investigation or inspection, a person must not do either of the following: (b) withhold, conceal or destroy any records or information relevant to the investigation or inspection or required by the medical health officer.
Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that staff records were withheld.
Corrective action: Ensure that during an investigation, records or information relevant to the investigation, are not withheld, concealed or destroyed. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to this contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On November 27, 2023 Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan stated that Licensing would be granted access to employees personal information if requested. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.

Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that the maximum capacity in Room 20 had been exceeded.
Corrective action: Ensure the community care facility is operated in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care, specifically regarding adherence to terms and conditions on a licence. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to this contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On August 31, 2024, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan stated that if an over enrolment issue arose, the facility would cancel care for families to ensure the facility stayed within compliance of the terms and conditions on the licence. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
