Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined a staff did not follow the Confidentiality Policy in place at the facility.
Corrective action: Ensure to operate the community care facility in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to this contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On April 5, 2024, the Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included the staff involved was no longer employed at the facility, and during the March 4, 2024, staff meeting, Confidentiality was reviewed with all staff. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. Meeting minutes were submitted to Licensing on April 24, 2024, showing confidentiality was reviewed.
