A licensee must notify the medical health officer within 24 hours after (a) a child is involved in, or may have been involved in, a reportable incident described in Schedule H while under the care or supervision of the licensee,
Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that the Licensee had not notified Licensing within 24 hours of a reportable incident as described in Schedule H.
Corrective action: Ensure that Licensing is notified within 24 hours if a child is, or may have been, involved in a reportable incident as described in Schedule H. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On June 3 and 8, 2022, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan specific to the contravention. The corrective action plan included signed forms which showed that staff understood Licensing requirements for incident reporting and incidents as described in Schedule H. This corrective action plan has been reviewed and accepted by Licensing.
