3030 - CCLR 39(1) 
 

A licensee must ensure that children are supervised at all times by a person who is an educator, an assistant or a responsible adult.

Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that there were incidents where a child had not been supervised.

Corrective action: Ensure that children in care were supervised at all times. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On November 7, 2024, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included the Licensee would ensure that supervision would be maintained at all times. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. On November 12, 2024, Licensing conducted a Follow Up Inspection and observed continuous supervision of children in care by staff.

3070 - CCLR 55(1)(b) 
 

A licensee must immediately notify a parent or emergency contact if, while under the care or supervision of the licensee, the child is involved in, or may have been involved in, a reportable incident described in Schedule H.

Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing determined that parents had not been notified of a reportable incident there child was involved in.

Corrective action: Ensure that parents were notified if a child was involved in an reportable incident. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On November 7, 2024, Licensee submitted a corrective action plan to Licensing. The corrective action plan included the Licensee would ensure that parents were notified if a child was involved in a reportable incident. The corrective action plan was reviewed and accepted by Licensing. On November 12, 2024, Licensing conducted a Follow Up Inspection and Licensee Contact stated that there had been no reportable incidents since September 2024 and parents would be notified if a child was involved in a reportable incident.
