The licensee must develop the care plan in consultation,with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.
Observation: Through the investigation process, the Manager indicated there were no care plans developed for three children in care requiring additional support.
Corrective action: Ensure a care plan is developed in consultation with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On June 26, 2023, the Manager submitted three care plans for children requiring additional support.
The licensee must review the care plan at least once each year with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.
Observation: Through the investigation process, Licensing observed a medical care plan had not be reviewed within the past year.
Corrective action: Ensure a review of care plan at least once each year with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent. Action/s Required by Licensee: Licensee to submit a corrective action plan to Licensing specific to the contravention. Action/s Required by Licensing: On June 26, 2023, the Manager submitted a reviewed medical care plan signed and dated by the parent.
