A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
ACTION ITEMS:
** BACTERIOLOGICAL TESTING: The current frequency of bacteriological sampling meets Schedule B of the Drinking Water Protection Regulation. Raw water sampling must be completed quarterly. A raw water sample requisition site will be created and requisitions will be generated automatically
**ASSESSMENTS: A source to tap assessment was completed in 2017. Ensure this is completed every 5 years. NEXT DUE: 2022
**FULL CHEMICAL ANALYSIS: A chemical analysis was complete on March 2017. This should be completed every 3-5 years (next due ASAP). No additional or parameter specific testing is required at this time.
**ANNUAL REPORT: An annual report was complete for 2020. Ensure annual reports are completed by June 30 of each year and provide a copy to our office. **Provide the 2022 annual report to our office.
**EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND CONTIGENCY PLAN: An ERP was updated in 2013. Ensure all ERPs are reviewed annually and as needed. **Submit any updated plans to our office.
**OTHER:
- Chlorine residuals are tested and records are maintained. The test kit was at the office during the inspection. **Ensure the meter is calibrated as per manufacturer instruction and all reagents are not expired.
- The following were not known about the reservoir. **If possible, provide this information: what is the liner material (if lined), if vents are turned down, and if vents are screened.
COMMENTS:
OPERATOR TRAINING: The employed operator meets or exceeds small water systems training.
OPERATING TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The system currently does not have terms and conditions. Terms and conditions must be reviewed and added to the permit.
WATER QUALITY ADVISORY: The system is currently on a boil water notice due to failure of the 100 micron Judo pre-filters. This is currently being reviewed.
OTHER:
- Records are maintained for testing, monitoring and maintenance activities.
- Extra equipment is available (bulbs, filters).
A construction permit or waiver must be obtained prior to commencing any construction or alteration of the water system.
