1. Preopening inspection for change of ownership after remodel. The following needs to be addressed prior to issuance of the food permit:
- Facility has brought in refrigeration which was not included in the plans/application. Provide equipment specifications for the Advantco 2 door reach in cooler (front of house and back of the house), Advantoc reach in freezer and Avancto prep cooler (labeled 3) which came from another location.
-Provide updated floor plan at final inspection. Facility has installed refrigeration units in different locations than on the approved plans and also installed additional refrigeration equipment.
-Remove shipping tape.
-Clean throughout the food establishment - floors, walls, interior cabinets, nonfood contact surfaces.
-Seal around conduit cables through the ceiling and gaps/holes in walls.
-Covered receptacles in both toilet rooms - will be unisex.
-Clean air vents in toilet rooms.
- Long hose attached to Y connector at the mop sink, requires a backflow preventer. Backflow handout emailed to the operator.
-Light out in the walk in freezer.
-Grease recptacle for oil
-Some refrigeration units were turned on during the inspection, ensure refrigeration units are available for final inspection.
-Due to reloaction of the prep cooler (prep cooler #3), a sink guard is required on the left hand side.
-Provide thin-probed food thermometer for final inspection.
-Ensure all equipment is in it's planned location for the final inspection.
-Remove contruction materials/tools.
-Separate backflow preventers needed on the ice and soda lines, one backflow is connected with a T-connector.
- Seal front handsink to the counter.
2. Facility is not approved to receive food deliveries.
3. Provided food safety handouts and updates to the 2021 VDH Food Regulations.
4. Contact health department when ready for final inspection.
