47: 1570 Observed walk in cooler and walk in freezer doors are "heavy" to open and are not self-closing. Observed frost build up on ceiling of walk-in freezer. Also observed bottom gasket of walk in cooler torn. Corrective Actions: Adjust the doors of both walk in cooler and walk in freezer doors to open freely and self-close. Repair torn gasket(s) to seal refrigerated areas maintaining correct cold holding temperatures. Also, adjust as needed, cooling equipment to prevent the buildup of frost on the walk-in freezer ceiling.
47: 1570 Observed newly installed steam table unable to hold water. Corrective Actions: Repair new steam table to hold water so that hot holding of prepared foods is maintained at appropriate temperature. Furthermore, a leaking fluid onto the floors is a potential risk of employee injury due to a slip or tripping accident.
