I visited this location for a 2nd pre-opening inspection of the concession stand at the Miller Park Pool this morning. The VDH food permit was issued today and you may open to prepare and serve food & beverages at this pool concession stand. Please post your VDH food permit so the public / your customers can see it.
Menu -No raw animal products will be cooked on site and no cooling will occur on site. Food preparation such as cooking/reheating & most dishwashing will occur in the permitted city school kitchens. Discussed food security and ensuring non-food staff cannot access the concession stand when it is closed.
There is now an air gap under the three-compartment sink. (air gap & with a automatic drain pump after gap) Water was found to be 110 F at the three-compartment sink today.
Per the 5/23 inspection --This location has: sanitizer; sanitizer test strips; a metal stem probe thermometer; thermometers in the cold holding /unit; lighting was shielded throughout the kitchen
