Observations & Corrective Actions

47: 1570 47 OUT 1570 There is water pooling in the floor in the dish room due to the dish washer spitting out water & seeming to be leaking. Additionally, there is a build up on the outside of the top / front of machine somewhat near the temperature gauges.
Corrective Actions: Correction: Ensure equipment is in proper operation, accuracy, functioning, maintenance, and cleanability. Manager is aware of issues with dish machine and there is a call in to get someone to fix this in the coming weeks.

55: 3170 55 OUT 3170 REPEAT The wall is in poor condition around the mop sink.
Corrective Actions: Correction : Ensure the floors, walls, and ceiling in the facility are kept in good repair - these surfaces should be smooth, easily cleanable, and nonabsorbent / non porous. As discussed at the December 2022 inspection, the walls & floor will be repaired in the next seventy-five (75) days. Per the manager, there has been a discussion with maintenance to work on fixing this mop sink area in the kitchen.

Additional Comments

NOTE: Verbally discussed the following during today's inspection: employee health policy, date marking policy & procedures, hand washing policy, and checking food during deliveries. Left TPHC, time as public health control, handout per discussion about the self-service bar occasionally offered. Observed good date marking today. This location also prepares and cooks some of the food for "The Summit" 1320 Enterprise Dr Lynchburg.

Discussed the regulation changes including: starting summer 2021 for there to be a written vomiting and diarrheal clean up procedures and you already should have a clean up kit (kit is behind the office door) ; also starting summer 2021 you must post all pages of your most recent inspection OR post a sign saying inspection is available for viewing on request (QR code poster present near entrance to dining room) - you can post this near your food permit which also must be visible to the public / your customers (ensure you have current, updated permit).
