56: 3140 54 OUT 3140 - CORRECTED Personal care items such as a pump hand soap, Emergen-C supplements, etc. were observed sitting on the small ledge above the three compartment sink air drying mat where items air dry. Corrective Actions: Correction: Have a designated area away from food, food prep, & clean dishes to store medicine/personal items to avoid potential cross-contamination. At the inspector's request, these items were moved from the ledge above where the drying mats and air drying dishware were located to below the cash register.
Additional Comments
NOTE: Discussed ensuring in-use bottles of syrups/sauces are not stored at the three-compartment sink due to the risk of chemical contamination or splash getting into / onto the pumps. Also, please ensure clean utensils are not stored at the hand sink inside of the splashguards due to the risk of contamination from hand washing attempts.
This location is a small kiosk inside of Kroger and seems to have outgrown current small space - discussed the need for more counterspace for coffee air pots, containers of syrups / sauces, etc. on the beverage make line so there are not being stored in the dishwashing area.
Good job with date marking items and keeping your space neat and organized in the small kiosk as well as in the small storage area off of the Kroger deli.
Discussed the regulation changes including: starting summer 2021 for there to be a written vomiting and diarrheal clean up procedures (previously left VDH / VDACS Guidance for clean-up June 2021 guidance) and you already should have a clean up kit ; also starting summer 2021 you must post all pages of your most recent inspection OR post a sign saying inspection is available for viewing on request (previously left QR code poster, but it is NOT posted ) - you can post this near your food permit which also must be visible to the public / your customers ( current VDH food permit is currently posted on cabinet door not very visible to customers) .
