43: 550 43 OUT 550 CORRECTED, REPEAT At a fountain drink machine in the Flames Club box 2027, the ice scoop and the handle to the ice scoop were touching the ice.
Corrective Actions: Correction: Store the ice scoop in a manner so that the handle does not contaminate the ice. **Corrected as staff took the ice scoop out and placed the handle above the ice. **

NOTE: This location is mostly used for concessions for volleyball and basketball games. The following was verbally reviewed during today's inspection: employee health policy; hand washing policy; using TPHC (Time As A Public Health Control) and the need to have a written plan and marking on the hot cases or the food to tell the discard time.

Reminder to ensure the sides and the wall/floor around equipment is pulled out and regularly cleaned.

Discussed the regulation changes from 2021 for there to be a written vomiting and diarrheal clean up procedures (previously left VDH / VDACS Guidance for clean-up June 2021 guidance) and you already should have a clean up kit (on the wall near the walk-in cooler) ; also starting summer 2021 you must post all pages of your most recent inspection OR post a sign saying inspection is available for viewing on request (QR code poster near fountain drink machine & chip display in Flames Club box) - you can post this near your food permit which also must be visible to the public / your customers ..
