Complaint answered:
Received 7/2/24, answered 7/3/24
Complaint:
Complainant stated that she was served a biscuit with a long hair on it and the Person In Charge promo'ed out the food and then proceeded to take the food from the customer out of view next to the expo line. Customer stated that when the manager brought back the new food it looked like the same biscuit due to having the same chip on the biscuit as the previous biscuit. Complainant expressed concern to the area manager where a thread of emails were sent regarding re-serving previously served foods.
Observations/Comments:
Person In Charge stated that she was not at the restaurant at the time of complaint but food is required by the company to be taken and discarded in the waste bucket to be counted as waste. After waste is counted it is discarded in trash at end of every shift. Person In Charge stated that if anyone returs food that they embargo and make the food fresh.
No foods were observed being re-served at location.
