Inspection conducted in response to complaint of food being dumped down storm drains on 3rd Ave N and Church St. Video evidence submitted of food deposited into drains. Inspecton conducted in collaboration with Metro Water of wastewater dumping practices. Establishment has had prior complaint filed against them regarding improper dumping.
Metro Water will return to pry up grates to determine if grate is connected to electrical vault or connected to sewer system. Unable to determine at present moment if establishment was dumping improperly.
Contacted person in charge to discuss waste water disposition practices; person in charge states they dump water at commissary located at 907 Gallatin Pk.
Separate Best Gyro Food and Hot Dog Cart truck documented in complaint only open on weekends. Inspection of waste dumping practices will occur when trucks are open.
A follow-up inspection will be conducted within 10 days' time. Repeat violation notice given. Discussed employees taking food safety course.
