20: Observed sliced tomatoes and shredded lettuce above 41°f on the veggie make line - pic stated they were prepared last night and placed in the wic and stayed there until added to the line a couple hours prior to the inspection. Observed all other tcs items in the wic made yesterday in temp. Observed the digital thermometer of the make like read 38, and all non tcs vegetables were also above 41°f. Left my thermometer under the tray of lettuce for several minutes and got the ambient temp of 49°f. Recommend getting the unit looked at. COS discussed with pic and discarded the tomatoes and lettuce. Pic also added ice under the new trays of lettuce and tomatoes.
