Food Inspection | Routine

April 25, 2024
Score & Grade: Grade:
Observations & Corrective Actions

4: MFC 2-401.11 Employee drinks being stored directly next to the meat slicer.

8: MFC 5-205.11 The hand sink directly inside the kitchen doorway is blocked with brooms and trash can making it less accessible to wash hands.

13: MFC 3-302.11 (A) (1-2) There are multiple items in the fridge that are uncovered, such as the tenderloin and the burritos. This can lead to cross contamination and contamination from the air (dust/dirt/flies).

14: MFC 4-601.11 (A) The soda nozzles and the board they connect to on the machine are very sticky and soiled with syrups and dust/dirt. The cappuccino machine has an accumulation of substances on the underside where the spouts are. This is a previous core violation that has been moved up to a priority per Polk county food ordinance.

14: MFC 4-601.11 (A) The meat slicer had caked on food residue and was said to have not been used today.

23: MFC 3-602.12 (A) There is no customer advisory posted for customers to see.

26: MFC 7-201.11 There are chemicals stored above single-serve items in the back room.

35: MFC 3-305.11 There are several cases of fryer oil stored on the floor by the back door.

41: MFC 4-903.11 (A), (C) Single serve items (paper/styrofoam cups plates containers etc..) Must be stored in a manner that prevents contamination.

45: MFC 4-602.13 There is much accumulation of grease/dust/dirt on the sides of the fryer, the front of the grill, the air conditioner above the pizza oven, the breaker box beside pizza oven, ceiling above pizza oven.

Additional Comments

Over all there is much cleaning that needs to be done.
The items listed as priority need to be corrected by 4-29-24, the other items need to be corrected as soon as possible but no later than the next routine inspection.
