2/9/2023
Jackson County Food Code (Chapter 40, Sections 4035, and 4040.1) required that the most recent routine inspection (Display page 2) and the current food permit be posted in public view. Failure to post these in public view by the next routine inspection will result in a critical violation (2-102.11) that may result in a $110 re-inspection fee.

Provide valid food handler cards for listed employees within 30 days to avoid re-inspection & fees. Photo/scan of cards can be sent to the inspector at kgeary@jacksongov.org.

A re-inspection was conducted for missing food handler permits. During todays visit it was found that the establishment was able to provide a valid food handler permit for the following
Destiny, Amyah, Alvaro, Sophon


The following employees still need food handler permits:
Carlos, Nadia, Ulises, Clayvonne, Roni, Kylah, Janya, Mari, Kyndal, Sasha.

A 2nd re-inspection has been scheduled for 3/17/2023. A re-inspection fee of one hundred dollars ($110) will be charged when a re-inspection is required to correct noncompliance. This fee is due at time of re-inspection in the form of a check or money order made out to JACKSON COUNTY (inspectors cannot accept cash in the field).

The $110 fee for todays visit has NOT been paid. This establishment is to be billed.

This establishment is NOT COMPLIANT. A 3RD RE-INSPECTION has been scheduled for 3/20/2023. Re-inspections will be conducted every 3 days until establishment is compliant. A $110 re-inspection fee will apply to every re-inspection required to gain compliance.

A 3rd re-inspection was conducted for missing food handler permits. During todays visit the establishment provided temporary food permit training certificates from KCMO for the following employees: Mari, Carlos, Clayvonne, Roni, Janya. The certificates are only good for 30 days. These employees must follow the instructions on the certificates to obtain a permanent card from the KCMO Health Department. Should the establishment not be able to provide valid food permanent food handler cards for these employees during the next inspection they will be considered REPEAT violations and will be subject to a priority violations for Demonstration of Knowledge and a re-inspection $110 re-inspection fee.

This establishment was unable to provide valid food handler permits for the following employees: Ulises & Kylah (Kaylah) - Both had expired KCMO certificates on the 2/9/2023 inspection and still have not provided a valid food handler permit.
